alright, i'v got the basic look, but i can't figure out how to change the background color (needs to go a little grey instead of white), and i dont know how to put an image across the top like the aqw wiki has, now add the image on top of that for the name. i'll make u (hina) an admin as soon as i notice you've joined.

background color - check
background image to give the top banner - check (altho this is obviously just a placeholder. it's easy to change)

just need to figure out how to replace the wiki title with a logo image. editing the wiki title to a period is how to get rid of the text, i just need to figure out how to get a logo up there to hide the dot behind and we're gravy. then we'll just need to get some artwork from the ae staff ^-^

site renamed. both background and logo placeholders working. logo positioned almost the same as aqwwiki. the next time i have chance to chat with someone i'll ask if we cud get some art and whether they wants the wiki live for the testing periods.

ok, got a hold of the propper ccs from our wiki. my browser didn't like it but it worked. i just need a second set of internet eyes to tell me it looks right to u too.

just had a chat with galanoth. he shud be getting us a new banner/background, logo, and favicon by the next alpha phase (probably next week).

• Hrm…very odd. I change the theme of the wiki, but the forum retains the theme of Shiny…=/ Flannel Ocean actually looked nice.

• We'll need new image tags. Member Only/AC Item are AQW specific =/ and probably a few others too

yar. i asked dumoose who i'd ask about getting a banner, logo and favicon (while teasing him about cataclysm), and shortly therafter galanoth asked him about us making the wiki, so he dropped us into a chat with eachother and done, he's happy we're gonna be ready for whenever they like, and we'll be getting the artwork hopefully in a week. but until then, its just me and u. i sent TLH an invite but not sure if he's got it.

we will indeed need new tags. but we cant make em until we know what everything's gonna be called ^-^

the custom css might be overriding some of the theme. im still not 100% sure on what all that does :S

i dont know what color theme the artwork we get back will be, so we might end up having to change the text colors. not entirely sure how to do that myself.

To Do List:
- Get new banner and stick it in
- Select appropriate theme (Remake the site if needed <.<)
- Select appropriate Font and stuff for new Image Tags
- Figure out how Locations will work. The background slides creating really long screens <.<

sorry i can't help atm, i can barely sit at the pc. but it occured to me that it wud probably be helpful if there was a thread on the ae forum for people to contribute information to for now like there was for aqw, and a statement that an official wiki is being made, and will be ready for use asap.

i'm so happy u got some help. i think i'v got some sort of flu to add to the migrain that still hasn't gone, so i'v been about as much use as a wet paper bag. we're now maxed out on members until the wiki is lifted from hidden to private or open.

Yea, which is a problem I didn't see coming xD

Anyway, all we really need is the banner/favicon (and room for Ash to get in) and we're pretty much set to open up.

Since you're probably unable to, shall I poke Gally and team for those? I don't like rushing people, but people are kinda rushing us for no good reason <.<

We could always open it up for now, and just change the banner once they get it done, tho visually, it just looks unappealing right now :P

missclick made me lose my long reply. ah well, who cares.

removing the logo since we dont need the placeholder anymore and it's the ugliest thing ever.

had a pm on the ae forums from Al Gilman who apparently runs HeroSmashWiki.com asking if we could collaborate on the wiki's. not entirely sure what he wants. just replied saying anyone can join and elp us ^-^

i have gal on msn so i can poke if needed. he's just gonna send me them in emails as soon as they're done and i'll just put em into use. hopefully, the first u'll hear of them is when they're up and working ^-^

gonna make some inquiries about screenshotting zones. for now we can either leave them blank, or just have one photo somewhere distinctly recognizable.

hopefully once i can sit in front of the monitor without wanting to vomit i'll be able to help out.

lol i got a pm from Al too, but I just decided to leave that discussion alone, since it wasn't gonna go anywhere. As you said, I'm not entirely sure what he wanted either.

Good to know that you can contact Gal and 'em so easily =)

As for location screenshots, Imma say leave them blank, the only exception being Aurora Park's entrance, since it's literally 1 screen.
