During Smashmas 2013:
The Dark Elf
I thought we'd taken care of all those Mutant Snow Monsters last Smashmas. It appears my radioactive rod was more powerful than I'd anticipated. All the snow that falls in this area is attempting to form a self-replicating ice crystal-based lifeform, and I don't think I can hold them off until the spring thaw.
