This is insane! A giant volcano just popped up in the center of the city, and there's a HUGE monster just riding it. First things first, Hero. We need to save people from the fire monsters that are spawning out of the lava! Go destroy 8 Igneous Crabs!

Trying Something Creative

Requirements: Must have completed the previous mission.

We need to stop some of this lava from flowing. It might be worth while trying some fire extinguishers. All APB's have standard issue fire extinguishers. Borrow 10 from patrolling APB's.

No I didn't mean use the extinguishers on the lava! There is more to this plan. Quickly now…there are more things to gather before I can make myself clear.

Run-for-Muck

Okay, for the second step, we need some lava muck. We will use this cooling lava from monsters to block off lava flow further into the city. Run out and obtain 20 Lava Muck from igneous monsters.

Plug it in, PLUG IT IN!

Requirements: Must have completed the previous mission.

Now to stop the lava flow. Use the Lava Muck by wedging it in flowing lava and start cooling it with the fire extinguisher. We should have a perfectly molded seal of igneous rock afterwords. Go plug 5 lava streams and let's hope this works.

Too Hot to Handle

The mouth of the volcano is definitely too hot to survive, even for me! But if I remember correctly YerCom industries was working on an internal air conditioner… a pill that could regulate body temperature. Visit Yercom and ask Marty Plumber if he has a spare pack of I-AC's to spare.

The Mouth of the Volcano

Now that you have a pack of I-AC's your body temperature should be regulated enough to survive the mouth of the volcano. I need you to creep your way up there and report what you find.

The lava monsters are becoming more viscous than before. The force behind this volcano must be attempting to get rid of us. Which means… what we are doing is working! Keep pushing back these beasts and bring me back 30 Volcanic Ashes from any of those monsters.

We need to continue whittling down these monsters to weaken the volcano's strength. Start with the Rhyolite Crabs. Remember the rhyolite is much more volatile than basic igneous monsters. Come back with 20 Rhyolite Chunks

This volcano is far from natural, in fact, there is a magical force holding it in place. Every chunk you remove weakens the magical force maintaining the volcano. I'm certain if you return to the mouth you will find the source of the volcano manifested, the Cinder Bender. Defeat him and the volcano should subside.
